I am an assistant professor of statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Williams College. I earned my PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA under the direction of Michael C. Wu. Research Interests: compositional data and the (human) microbiome, data science, statistical learning, kernel machine regression, multivariate analysis

Collaborative Endeavors: longitudinal gut microbiome in irritable bowel syndrome, graft versus host disease, and metabolic disease; the gut microbiome and perinatal depression and anxiety; using human population genetics to learn about human history in central Europe
